Community events

The Chaplaincy Council and community often arrange one-off events such as film nights, game nights, parties, trips to go and see live comedy, trips to PlayZone, giant piss-ups... We also do interfaith events and big one-off events — from Christmas carolling to summer BBQs. There are also annual events such as the pancake party, summer ball and Christmas dinner! Yum!

Here are some of the events we're running this term:

Cake Day

Thursdays, 12:30–13:30 in term time
We sit in Chaplaincy and eat cake (and sometimes things like pies, tarts & biscuits). Everyone's welcome. Email the Council Chair to join the rota. Resumes 7 October 2010
.

The Dave's Pub Quiz

Thursdays, starts at 20:00 (but best get there early!)
For umpteen years, the Chaplaincy community has gone to The Stile
for The Dave's Pub Quiz. It's a great laugh, so do come along and join in
!

...and, as always, you can just drop in for a cup or tea or coffee. There's probably always someone to chat with downstairs (or, failing that, check upstairs), or if you need to speak to a chaplain one-to-one, then staff are often available or nearby.
