Catherine Cruz — Roman Catholic Chaplain

Sr Catherine Cruz is a member of a new-ish community called Verbum Dei and so has previously been based in Spain and USA.

She enjoys meeting people, painting and also cooking (and eating!) and is presently doing a course in Spiritual Direction. She co-ordinates a team of local priests to say the weekly Sunday Mass. She is a sort of University of Southampton alumna, in that she did an Art Foundation course at the then Winchester School of Art.

Revd James Neve — Free Church Chaplain

James is almost our newest chaplain, having joined us at the beginning of December. He's a Baptist minister relatively new to Southampton and we'll get him to write a bit about himself very soon. James expects to be in the chaplaincy on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Revd Chris Day — Anglican Chaplain

Chris is our new newest chaplain, having joined us at the beginning of January. She's an Anglican priest who's been in Southampton for a while, and works as a welfare adviser at the University of Winchester. She'll be around on Thursday afternoons and Friday mornings and we'll get her to write a bit about herself very soon.

Colleen Cockroft — Chaplaincy Secretary

If you hear the sound of typing it's probably the chaplaincy secretary, Colleen Cockroft. Colleen deals with the room bookings, communications and day to day running of the chaplaincy.
